Drive to Portland - Day 1whelp..after lots of packing, many good meals, and some sad goobyes, Brian and I hit the road for Portland. Day 1: San Diego to Derek's house in San Francisco. Traffic near San Onofre had us stopped for a while and then 2 big accidents north of LA set us back about an hour. In the end, we made it to the Mission with time to get some hella good nor-cal veggie burritos and negra modelo. ahhh. After that we had some drinks at a couple cool local bars and some run-ins with crazy fixed gear riding hipsters...a nice welcome back to san francisco.
